This course is a study of the book of Deuteronomy, focusing on the final words, warnings, instructions, and blessings Moses gave to Israel before they entered the Promised Land. Students will explore Israel’s history, God’s faithfulness, the importance of obedience, the consequences of disobedience, and the covenant relationship between God and His people. Special attention will be given to how Deuteronomy looks both backward at God’s dealings with Israel and forward to the promises, challenges, and prophetic purposes yet to be fulfilled. 6 CREDITS
