Our Degrees

PSBI offers three undergraduate degrees that are awarded with 100% attendance-based criteria. Study any course you desire, at your own pace. Since all of our courses are available online, you can start whenever you are ready, pause when you need to, and start again where you left off. Your course will track your progress to completion, and you can chat with your instructor along the way. The following diplomas are free to study and earn:

Undergraduate Education

Diploma of Biblical Studies

This Degree typically takes two years to complete. Upon completion of this degree the student will have a well round understanding of the major theme and books of the Bible. 
Completion of 36 credit hours

Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies

This Degree typically takes three years to complete. Upon completion of this degree the student will have an in-depth understanding of God’s Word and the Christian faith.  
Completion of 60 credit hours

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies

Depending on class scheduling and the student’s flexibility, this degree can be obtained in four years of study. Upon completion of this degree the student will have complete understanding of the tenets of the Christian faith and be able to defend them with scripture.  We understand that staying at the top of your profession means accessing education and earning certificates efficiently and effectively.
Completion of 96 credit hours  

Graduate Education

PSBI also offers a Pastoral Diploma and two graduate level degrees. These degrees incur a fee of $30 per credit hour for coursework; if you wish to pursue a Pastoral Diploma or either graduate degree please consult with Dr. Kurt Kennedy about an academic plan.

Pastoral Diploma

The Pastoral Diploma is earned through course hours equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree but requires completion of specific courses. In awarding these diplomas, PSBI is charged with assuring future pastors are adequately trained, which requires attention to specific subjects. In addition to being well-grounded in Scriptural knowledge, the student will be well prepared for the ministry.  
Completion of 96 credit hours of prescribed coursework

Master of Arts in Biblical Studies

A Bachelor’s Degree or Pastoral Diploma is the prerequisite for pursuing a Master’s Degree. The course hours may be completed through chosen coursework; the student must also submit a master thesis for approval.  
Completion of 36 additional graduate credit hours and a master thesis 

Doctor of Ministry

A Master’s Degree is the prerequisite for pursuing a Doctorate. An additional 36 credit hours (for a total of 72 graduate hours) may be completed through chosen coursework; the student must also submit a doctoral thesis for approval.  
Completion of 72 additional graduate credit hours and a doctoral thesis
