Meet Our Team

Dr. Jason Murphy is both President of the Puget Sound Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of Open Door Baptist Church. In addition to Dr. Murphy's Pastoral Degree, which he received through the Puget Sound Bible Institute, he has continued in his studies to obtain both a Masters in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry. Pastor Murphy is an accomplished author on "End Times," a subject he is passionate about. He also hosts Prophecy Conferences both locally and internationally.

Dr. Kurt Kennedy is the Vice President and Director of the Puget Bible Institute. In addition to the Pastoral Degree, which he received through the Puget Sound Bible Institute, he has an earned Masters in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry degree. Dr. Kennedy is an accomplished author with over 13 Bible commentaries in print.

Pastor Murillo is an Associate Pastor of Open Door Baptist Church. In addition to Pastor Murillo's Pastoral Degree, which he received through the Puget Sound Bible Institute, he has an earned Masters in Biblical Studies, a Degree he also received through the Puget Sound Bible Institute. Pastor Murillo is currently studying for his Doctorate Degree.

Dr. Wayne Mitchell has been a PBSI instructor for many years. In addition to the Pastoral Degree, which he received through the Puget Sound Bible Institute, he holds an earned Masters in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry degree.

Dr. Paul Monsef has been a PBSI instructor for many years. He holds a degree in Pastoral Studies, as well as a Masters and Doctorate in Biblical Studies. He published his first Bible commentary work this year.
